On 09.07.2024, our external PhD student Joseph MacPherson successfully defended his dissertation on "Addressing uncertainty and normativity in agricultural sustainability assessment: the example of agricultural digitalisation". Joseph works at the Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research ZALF in Müncheberg. The main aim of the cumulative PhD thesis was to investigate how integrative methods can improve the state of the art in agricultural sustainability assessment.
