the HAIP Solutions team received the confirmation that they have received a scholarship from the EXIST program. The funding period starts September 2019. This is the first time that an Exist-Team has emerged from the Institute of Physical Geography. HAIP's mentor is Prof. Benjamin Burkhard.
HAIP has developed a procedure that can detect plant diseases in the field before they break out. The technology uses drones to automatically detect and analyse plant health.
Through precise application of fertilizers and pesticides, farmers can benefit from yield assurance, yield increase, optimized costs and more sustainability while also reducing the environmental impact.
