On 4 November 2023, Leibniz Universität Hannover once again organised a "Night that creates knowledge", opening the doors of the university to the interested public. PhyGeo was present with a very well-attended exhibition on the topic "Viewed from above: New perspectives through remote sensing and its impact on Earth observation" in the university's main building. Visitors had the opportunity to view our "Augmented Reality Sandbox", various drones, the terrestrial laser scanner and other surveying equipment on site and to create digital terrain models directly on the computer. The exhibition was rounded off by hourly presentations on the above-mentioned topic by Benjamin Burkhard.
